HESI Exit Exam
WHAT IS IT?
Health Educated Systems Incorporated (HESI) Exit examination evaluates a students readiness for their NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN exam. It has a 98% predictor of success.
The HESI RN contains 150 questions. The HESI LPN contains 150 questions or 75 questions.
The question format is multiple choice, fill in the blank, hot spots, multiple response, charts and drag and drop questions.
Nursing Process – Application of the nursing process, nursing concepts and nursing fundamentals.
Client Needs- This includes Safe and Effective Environment, Management of Care, Safety and Infection Control, Health Promotion Maintenance, Psychosocial Integrity, Basic Care and Comfort, Pharmacology, Reduction of Risk Potential and Physiological Adaptation.
Specialty Areas- Includes Community Health, Critical Care, Fundamentals Geriatrics, Maternity, Medical Surgical, Pediatrics, Professional Issues, and Psychiatry.
